Our formulas are an important factor in our business success. They are the foundation on which our products stand; they represent quality and reliability. The in-house laboratory is responsible for product development and improvement along with quality assurance during production.
Formula development constitutes an extensive process in this regard during which legal requirements must be observed, various quality tests must be carried out and the performance of the newly developed products must be tested. Only when absolutely positive results have been achieved, may products be added to the range. Daily tasks during product filling include quality checks on raw materials as well as adjustments to shades of colour using our own measuring methods.
As a service to consumers, melvo laboratory employees provide their professional advice in response to inquiries regarding all aspects of product safety, which is aimed at protecting people and the environment. The product-development and quality-assurance departments also represent our company in a variety of industrial associations, for example, in the working group for cleaning and care products within the Industrial Association for Body Care and Cleaning Products.
